The Board represents corporation&#8217;s governmental public interests and the employees act in the corporation&#8217;s operational interests. Influence. Concern.<\/p>\r\n<p>Board role: Maker of decisions, collective created, for which the administration is not authorized. Oversight of administration&#8217;s provision of services and prevention of fraud, bribery and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.publicsafety.gc.ca\/lbrr\/archives\/cnmcs-plcng\/cn000042501712-eng.pdf\">corruption<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n<p>Committees: Report to Board with decision recommendations and information.<\/p>\r\n<p>Voting: Directors must vote if in attendance and not in a conflict of interest. <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Gradients_of_agreement_scale\">Gradient of agreement<\/a><\/p>\r\n<p>Directors role: Represent the public interest on behalf the Area F <a href=\"https:\/\/www.congressfoundation.org\/storage\/documents\/Distressed-Constituents-Guide-APA.pdf\">Constituency<\/a>: and provides assistance for people working with the SCRD and other government service providers. Represents the Area&#8217;s interests to other political units and areas . Oath of office.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"\">Finances &#8211; First Regional Districts accounts differently than Municipalities. The expenses to run routine services we consume are paid through taxes and charges. Taxes are based on the property. A charge is used when the service use is easily measured.
